Rob Deamer's confession
Deamer: What'd you do to my daughter?
Rush: Found her mom's killer, like she asked me to.
Deamer: Brainwashed her is more like it.
Rush: Oh, I don't know how to control people like that.
Deamer: What are they talking about me?
Vera: If I were a betting man, I'd say you, Rob.
Rush: You and your rocket bombs.
Deamer: Gwen doesn't believe that.
Rush: Gwen told us how you made the untraceable call.
Deamer: Right. Okay, excuse me. I need to go deprogram my daughter.
Vera: Pisses you off, doesn't it? Not knowing what they're saying what they're doing.
Deamer: Don't pretend that you know me.
Rush: Oh, I do know you. I know you had two other wives you pushed around, Pauline, Adrian.
Deamer: What about them?
Rush: They were the lucky ones. They got out in time.
Vera: They probably didn't talk back like Dana did.
Rush: Probably weren't so,uh, headstrong.
Deamer: You know about that, don't you?
Rush: I do. I got all these opinions, ideas that might not be the same as yours. Now, I'm just the kind of girl that pisses you off, Rob. Just the kind of girl you'd like to blow to bits.
Deamer: Are you the kind of girl that would flirt with your husband's friends?
Rush: I might.
Deamer: Mouth off to his mother, insult her to her face.
Rush: Sounds about right.
Deamer: Be so damn stubborn that every single conversation turns into World war III.
Rush: And on top of that, I'd be teaching my daughter to be just as big of a pain in the ass as I am.
Deamer: And you put up with this?
Vera: Tough lady.
Deamer: Well, maybe you'd deserve a lesson, too.
Rush: And it was so handy having a guy like Albert Miller to set up.
