Summary

Lilly re-investigates the case of a murdered church organist Mitchell Bayes, when his Alzheimer's-stricken widow begins having flashbacks of the night in question. Lilly's investigation has both Mitchell's son, Ryan, and daughter, Tina, demanding Lilly close the search.

Whatever happened, this case was a rush job.

Bayes was a hypocrite church type. Whoring Saturday night, asking forgiveness on Sunday.

We got to redeem this guy.

- This is a nice lady, boss. And her memory's going fast. If we're ever going to look at this again...
- We should do it now

Why it went cold: Gil Sherman's drinking problem (he was the lead detective on this case)

Lilly says she won't go back on the line and will stay on cold cases. Vera & Jeffries helped with a witness.

Some much for Church going people : the abusing and violent wife murdered her adulterous husband in an access of rage.
There is no confession, the murder is told by the son who witnessed and was forced to help dispose of the body.
