No new lead to reopen the 1983 case, but the urge to stop the release of the main suspect Albert Miller who's about to be paroled for another crime.
The case went cold because the main and only suspect Albert Miller could not be related to the bomb.
The case benefits of recent technologies: CSU Louies identifies that the bomb was stuck in a laundry detergent box (Gleen), thus making the culprit having had access to the Beamer's home and clearing Albert Miller.
Vera helps out by digging phone and firemen duty records from 1983, possibly establishing an affair between Frank Lawson and Dana Deamer.
Lilly searches Rob Deamer's bank records and finds out about the existence of his former spouses.
Aftermath: it prevented Rob Deamer from marrying one more time and stopped Gwen from stalking Albert Miller and screwing up her life.
