Bobby Kerns

African-American, seen at 18 and 22 years old, he is a street kid, recruited by Mike Donley to join the Army. After serving two tours of duty overseas as an Army Specialist, Bobby returns home to find Mike dead, accused of robbing a pawnshop in the hours before his death. Convinced that Mike was a totally straight arrow who would never commit a crime, Bobby asks the Cold Case squad to re-open the case.
